How to Measure Star Printables
These stars are measured star outlines in both 5 point stars and rounded stars. You can measure these stars by width. The height of the star is slightly smaller than the width of the star, but the size of the star on each print out is measured by its width.
Recommendations for Using Star Printables
Star printables are excellent for craft projects! If you are using the following star patterns as a stencil or as a pattern to cut out stars on other paper, then I recommend printing the star PDF onto a heavy cardstock paper.
Heavy cardstock is durable and will not bend as you trace the star outline onto other material. I recommend using this cardstock. I always keep a pack on hand for my crafting projects!

The smaller star templates print on regular 8.5×11 paper. Large star templates print on 11×17 paper. The extra large star templates (11.5 and 12 inch stars) print on 12×12 paper.
I recommend sending the 11×17 stars and 12×12 stars to FedEx Print or Staples, unless you printer is capable of printing those sizes. The best 12×12 paper to print on is crafting paper or cardstock paper.
5 Pointed Star Printable Templates
Below you will find the 5 pointed star printable templates.
These stars are arranged from smallest to largest starting with 1 inch star shapes to 12 inch star shapes. Each star size goes up by a half inch through the 12 inch star.
The large stars will need to be printed on specialty paper but they will be printed in one piece. These extra large stars work great for bulletin boards and crafts that will be seen from a distance.
