Hobby Lobby Thanksgiving crafts are the best way to plan cheap crafts for class parties or Thanksgiving day craft activities for kids!
A craft kit from Hobby Lobby usually has enough craft supplies to make 8-12 items! If you are planning for a big group of kids, then this is an easy way to plan a craft for cheap. Especially since Hobby Lobby has their fall crafts section for 50% off the original price.
I love shopping at Hobby Lobby when I’m planning a class party because I don’t have to worry about items getting shipped on time. I can head to the store and grab what I need so that we can be prepared.
Pulling all the craft supplies together for a craft is time consuming, especially if you are cutting, sorting, and organizing all the little pieces. Hobby Lobby has these neat little to-go crafts with everything kids need to make the craft! Even better these crafts don’t require hot glue, most of them have sticky tape on them so that gluing the crafts is easy.
While I was out shopping for our fall craft for the 3rd Grade fall party, I took some pictures of everything that Hobby Lobby has out right now so that you can get some fun project ideas for party planning or fall crafts to do at home on rainy days this fall.

Fall Craft Wearable Goodies for Thanksgiving
The Thanksgiving wearable hats are made using foam craft paper.
The turkey face headband with googly eyes is adorable for a Kindergarten class craft. These are easy to put together and attach using elastic. I also love that the little kids won’t destroy them so quickly since they are made with foam craft paper.
These thanksgiving headbands have colorful feathers and are a classic Thanksgiving fall craft.
Thanksgiving Turkey Crafts
Make a Turkey on Turkey Day this year! Hobby Lobby has several Turkey craft options to choose from this year. You can paint, color, glue, and cut to make a Thanksgiving Turkey uniquely yours. These kits include every thing you need from the googly eyes to the paper feathers, just make sure you read the package to see if you need glue.
This is a really cool Thanksgiving turkey, but it’s one we will do at home instead because it needs to bake. My boys are excited to try this craft because it’s something new that we have never done before!
Fun Ideas for Thanksgiving Table
Make these fun crafts to add to the holiday table this Thanksgiving. I love letting my kids make cute table decorations for Thanksgiving. You can add place cards to these crafts and place them on the plates at the dinner table.
This is the fall craft we chose for our 3rd grade Fall Party. I thought it was a unique fall craft because it has a spring and bounces which my boys love! You can watch my son put his together and see how it’s pretty easy to do. This is a great craft for 3rd graders and older.
The toilet paper roll Thanksgiving craft includes the paper rolls, so you don’t have to worry with collecting those for the craft. I love when then things are made easier when planning crafts for my kids!
Fall Decor Kids Crafts
These wood Thanksgiving craft kits are great for kids to paint or color with markers. I let my kids make these each year and we add them to our Thanksgiving decorations.
Fall Wood Crafts
This pumpkin wood wall decor is a fun craft for kids to decorate using acrylic paints. My boys love carving and decorating pumpkins, so this inexpensive wood craft was a no-brainer! We set them outside on the front porch and inside as fall table decor.
Hello Fall is a fun piece of fall wood wall decor that can hang on the front door with a wreath or inside on the wall. I let my kids paint a few of these signs that we handed out to friends as a little fall gift! It was a fun DIY project that was easy for my boys to do.
Thanksgiving Kids Activities
The activity kits in this section are great for a calming activity at the end of a party. I like to use these as a final activity while we are wrapping up the party. Kids can calm down from the sugar rush and hyped up party fun by coloring a Thanksgiving bookmark, writing out things they are Thankful for, or decorating a Fall scene.
My favorite craft in this section is the Thankful Wheel. It’s great to use at home or at school!
Taking time to teach our kids to be grateful for what they have in their life is important to our family. I love that Hobby Lobby has this super simple Thankful wheel craft that my kids can create. Last year we did this at the beginning of November. Each night (when I remembered to do it) at dinner time we would pull these out and the kids would share a new thing they are grateful for. This was such a fun way to set up our dinner conversation and focus on being thankful during the holiday season.
