This free printable is a simple way to help kids focus on the good things in their life. In our house, we often get caught up in not having the newest video game, fighting with our brothers, or just having a bad attitude.
I love this activity because it helps me and the kids realize all the good things we have!

This is a free digital download. You will need Adobe Reader to open the PDF file. Then you can save it to your desktop.
I recommend printing this activity on white cardstock. The cardstock paper is durable and will work better when the kids cut out the shamrock shape.

How to Use “I am Lucky” Free Printable
I did this activity at home with my kids. We talked about all the things that we are thankful for in our lives. We included everything from toys, to family members, to the good qualities we have as people.
Here are a few examples. I am lucky because…
- I can laugh
- I can play
- I have an ipad
- I get to play video games
- I have brothers
- I love my family
My kids then filled out each leaf on their shamrock. Then they colored their shamrock with crayons and markers.
Then we hung our shamrocks up in our kitchen so we could see them each morning during the month of March!
