- Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil
- Hot Glue Gun

Step by Step Instructions to Make a Valentines Robot Mailbox
- First you will need to print out the Robot Craft Template to make this Robot Valentines Mailbox.
2. Decide where you want the hole for the mail to go on the cereal box. I placed the hole at the top of the cereal box, but later realized that I should have placed the hole on the back of the box so that the head could be centered on the top.
Use scissors or a craft knife to cut the hole or slot for the mail to go.
TIP: Place the hole on the back of the box towards the top of the box. Make the hole in a rectangle shape. It should be large enough for Valentine cards and little prizes/gifts.
3. Wrap the cereal box with Heavy Duty aluminum foil. Use regular gift wrapping tape to attach the paper to the box. I wrapped the cereal box just like I would wrap a present.
4. Use scissors to make an X where the hole is on the cereal box. Then fold the aluminum foil into the hole and tape the aluminum foil down on the inside. It should look similar to the image below.
5. Wrap the smaller box (the Robot’s head) with heavy duty aluminum foil the same way you did the cereal box. Cut out the Robot’s face from the Robot Craft template and attach it to the small box with the hot glue gun.
Then attach the head to the top of the cereal box with hot glue.
7. Cut out the Robot body, the gauge, checkerboard, 3 bolt tops and Robot feet. Attach each piece to the front of the cereal box (larger box) using the hot glue gun.
8. Now it’s time to make the Robot ears. Cut out the yellow paper strips and the red circles. Roll the yellow paper strips into a circle and hot glue. Fold the tabs and set aside. (Do this 2 times.)
Cut 1 pipe cleaner in half. Use one piece to poke a whole into the center of the red circle. On the bottom of the circle fold 1/4 inch of the pipe cleaner and hot glue it to the bottom of the red circle. Use a pencil to curl the pipe cleaner sticking out of the top of the red circle. Then attach the red circle to the yellow cylinder. (Do this 2 times.)
Attach each Robot ear to the sides of the Robot head using hot glue gun.
9. Cut out the 2 pink hearts and cut one pipe cleaner in half. Hot glue each heart to the top of each pipe cleaner. Then attach the pipe cleaners to the top of the robots head.
10. Make Robot arms by cutting 2, 4 inch wide strips of aluminum foil for each arm. Fold the 4 inch strip into a 2 inch strip. Then do an accordion fold the length of the arm. Attach the Robot claws to the bottom of the arm.
Finally attach the arm to the shoulder of the Robot.
Now you have an adorable Robot Valentine Mailbox!
