A Halloween treat mix is a fun treat to add to Boo Bags or an easy to make snack for any Halloween party! This tasty treat is easy to make and way to easy to eat!
Halloween Boo Chex Mix is the perfect treat for my little guys and their friends! Honestly, my husband and I eat just as much as the kids. We went through 2 gallon size bags in a week. (I probably shouldn’t have told you that! Ha!)

Hey Boo! Chex Mix Snack Recipe
Ingredients
6 cups Honey Nut Chex
3 cups Quaker Squares
2 cups Bugles
1 1/2 cups pretzels
1 cup peanuts (we don’t like peanuts, so I skipped this part)
1/3 cup light corn syrup
2 TBS honey
1/4 cup brown sugar
3 TBS butter
1 tsp vanilla
Add after cooking:
Marshmallows
M&M’s
Candy Corn
*any other candy that melts
Directions:
Mix cereals and other dry ingredients together.
In a separate bowl, heat sugar, syrups, and butter. (Microwave for 1 – 1 1/2 minutes)
Add vanilla.
Coat cereal mixture.
Spread on baking sheet (lined with foil)
Bake at 350 for 10 minutes
Remove and stir then bake at 350 for another 10 minutes
Let cool, break apart.
After cooled, add honey roasted peanuts (do not cook).
For our Halloween Boo Mix I add Halloween M&Ms & marshmallows. You could also add candy corn, candy pumpkins, or any other favorite Halloween treats!
Just make sure you add anything that melts after the cereal mix has cooled!
TIP: If you use Cheerios, they usually brown faster than the rest of the cereal. Best to add after cooking!
