FREE Printable Buffalo Plaid Ornament with Designs
SUPPLIES:
- Buffalo Plaid Ornament Printables
- Ribbon or Decorative Twine
- Small Embroidery Hoop (3 inch size)
- Scissors
- Hot Glue Gun
- Decorative Rustic Card Stock (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
1 Print and cut out the buffalo plaid ornaments you want to use.
2. Trace the embroidery hoop onto the card stock and cut out the circle. This will be used for the backing of the hoop ornament for a more finished look.
3. Hot glue the decorative card stock to the back of the hoop.
4. Hot glue the buffalo plaid ornament template to the front of the hoop.
5. Add a piece of ribbon or twine through the screw at the top of the embroidery hoop and tie in a knot. This will be used to hang the ornament.
6. Add a ribbon at the top to cover the screw.
Hang and enjoy!
OPTIONAL
Another way to create a rustic Christmas tree ornament with buffalo plaid is to use the same printables from the tutorial above, but modpoge onto wood slices. Use small eye hooks to create a place to hang the ornament. Add ribbon or twine and you have a beautiful customized handmade Christmas ornament!
TIP: Craft stores like Hobby Lobby and Joann’s (and even Amazon) sell wood slices that are approximately 3 in. The printable buffalo plaid ornaments in this post would work for those wood slices!
